The live search: the stored postings every active profile matches. No run, no board request, no model call. What “Run find jobs” searched, without a run: read from the stored index through the per-(posting, profile) read model, across every active profile (a deleted or archived profile is never listed). A changed setting (titles, countries, work mode) is seen by the next call. 0.1.11.9: a role (a profile) is a TAG. Each posting is listed once, with the roles whose saved search found it in tags ({profile_id, label, match_rank, rank_score}, best first: each role keeps its own rank score). The row’s assessment, resume and state are the JOB’s (it has one of each), whichever role is named; its weak-fit state is judged at the best tag’s rank. profile_id on a row is the best tag’s id and profiles the same tags as before 0.1.11.9: both are kept for older readers and select nothing. The profile_id filter keeps the jobs that role found. Ordered like GET /api/new: a current assessment, then a stale one, then not assessed; inside a group the verdict, then fit (the row’s one fit number: the share of requirements met with the must-haves counted twice, 0 to 100, null when not assessed), then the rank score, then the newest. A posting whose state is weak_fit (it waits on answers, its fit is below fit.weak_fit_below_percent, 40, AND its rank score is below fit.weak_fit_below_rank, 50) is left out unless state=weak_fit asks for it; it asks no question (open_questions is empty) and counts.weak_fit is how many the other filters select, listed or not. THIN POSTING (0.1.11.2): a row says thin_posting (true or false). It is true for a match read from fewer than 4 requirement rows (every matrix row, the “N of M requirements”): its score_text says “thin posting, not enough requirements to score” in place of “Matched” and “fit N%”, its fit is null and no percentage is shown; with 1 to 3 rows the state, the filters and the counts stay a match’s, and the row is LISTED LAST: after every other assessed posting and every posting not assessed yet, ranked or not (a fit read from 2 requirements is never listed above a real match). A match with NO row about the job (an empty matrix, a lone “No stated requirements” row, eligibility rows alone) has the state thin_posting instead of matched: fit is null, it is never in counts.by_state.matched or state=matched, it is listed by state=thin_posting, and it comes last of the thin postings. US ONLY (0.1.11.8): us_only=1|0 is a switch of the list, by the posting’s location; left out, it is on for a US setup (us_only in the answer: on, default, rule), and counts.us_only_left_out says how many postings it left out. Only a posting clearly outside the US is left out: one Scout cannot place (Remote alone, no location) is listed with location_unclear: true. It changes no profile setting. COPIES (0.1.11.8): the same company, the same title and the same description posted more than once (only the location differs) is ONE row unless collapse=0: copies, locations, locations_text and members (job_identity, job_url, location; the canonical job first) on each row. The row is ONE canonical job (its US posting when it has one, else the earliest posted): its state and its address are the row’s, and POST /api/postings/assess by a filter takes it alone. A posting with another description, or with none stored, is never merged. counts.matched and the page are rows and counts.postings is how many postings they stand for. Any copy with an application makes the row applied. APPLIED LABEL (0.1.11.3): each row of GET /api/postings says application ({status, since}: the job’s latest application status, applied, interview_scheduled, offer_received, rejected or withdrawn, and when it happened; null when none). It is a label read from the application events once per request: it never changes a row’s state, rank or gate. ALREADY APPLIED (0.1.11.5): a posting with an application (any of those statuses, a rejected or withdrawn one too) is left out like a weak fit: of the rows, of counts.matched and counts.by_state, and of the postings a filter selects for POST /api/postings/assess, unless state=applied asks for it (then every one of them is listed, a weak fit too) or the posting is named (jobs). counts.applied is how many the other filters select, listed or not. ONE POSTING BY ITS ADDRESS (0.1.11.6): GET /api/postings?job=<address> is the exact read of a posting: its row comes back whether it has an application, is a weak fit, was removed by its board or sits past the first 200 rows of the list. A job page opened by its address reads this; never search a page of the list for one posting. SPONSORSHIP AND H-1B (0.1.11.3): each row of GET /api/postings says sponsorship (offered, not_offered, transfer_only or unknown: what the assessment read from the posting; transfer_only, since 0.1.11.10, is a posting that gives no new sponsorship and takes H-1B transfers, which is not a flat no; null when the posting is not assessed) and h1b ({approvals, fiscal_years}: the COMPANY’s H-1B approvals from the bundled company catalog, no network; null when the catalog holds no figure). The page shows them as a label (“Sponsorship not stated · 32 H-1B approvals”); they never filter, sort, hold or rank a posting. RANKED LOW (0.1.11.2): a posting nothing assessed yet whose KNOWN rank score is below fit.weak_fit_below_rank (50) is ranked low. It is ORDERED lower, never hidden or collapsed: it is in the rows and in counts.matched like any other posting, in rank order, so it comes after the other ranked postings not assessed yet and before the ones not ranked yet. Each row says ranked_low (true only for such a posting), counts.ranked_low is how many the list holds (a page draws a plain “Ranked low (N)” divider above them), and state=ranked_low is an optional filter that lists only them. A posting not ranked yet is never ranked low: it is listed after them (score_text “not ranked yet · not assessed”); an assessed posting keeps the rules above whatever its rank. ranking is how far the background rank is ({enabled, in_progress, window_days, stale_resume, by_profile: [{profile_id, ranked, total, stale_resume}]}; total is the ranked postings plus the unranked ones that went up in the last window_days days, the only ones the rank lane ranks): while in_progress the order is of what is ranked so far. ranking.stale_resume is true when a profile’s resume (its master) changed after its postings were ranked: a rank score is stored per resume, so those postings read “not ranked yet” until they are ranked again (the Jobs page then offers “Re-rank”: POST /api/postings/rank, mode: latest). It is a read: no model is called for it. counts.matched is every posting the filters keep, counts.new those first seen since the last check (anchor.since; the last 7 days before the first check). This call never moves that anchor. sort=newest_posted orders the rows by the day the posting went up instead, the newest first (a posting the board gives no date for: by when Scout first saw it); sort=fit, the default, is the order above. A row’s dates: published_at is the day the posting WENT UP (Greenhouse’s first_published, Lever’s createdAt, Ashby’s publishedAt), the one window=7d|30d, the profile’s “posted within” and sort=newest_posted judge (null when the board gives none), published_kind what the date is (posted; updated, a last change, only for a board kind that gives nothing else: none today), updated_at the board’s LAST CHANGE to the posting (null when it gives none; a posting up for two months and edited three days ago is two months old) and first_seen_at when Scout first stored the posting, the date window=new judges. assessment_basis says where a row’s assessment came from: {origin: "quick_assess"}, or for an old run’s {origin: "run:<run_id>", run_id, prompt_version, constraints_digest, story_bank_digest, profile_ref, resume, posting_sha256, model_target, model} (ids and digests). rank is the background rank lane: whether it is on (its own switch, rank.enabled, not the pipeline’s) and today’s calls against rank.max_calls_per_day (100) and the warning level rank.warn_calls_per_day (60), counted once for all profiles. With history=1, history.rows lists what old runs assessed ({job_identity, profile_id, state, thin_posting, met, requirements, open_questions, assessed_at, hidden, basis}); rows of a run with no profile (ephemeral) or of a profile that is not active are hidden: listed only with include_hidden=1 or when profile_id names them, and counted in history.hidden otherwise. No response mixes: posting text and what a model derived from it only (postings._labels: public-untrusted), nothing the user wrote. In every response company is the company’s NAME (the company index’s, e.g. “Osprey Lane”); company_slug is the board token (“ospreylabs”: an id, never a name; null for a posting read from a page or pasted text) and company_name repeats the name. A row’s minor_gaps / minor_gap_text name the bonus and one-of-a-list requirements its assessment did not meet (they never block a match: “Matched” with “1 minor gap: Helm”, and the question about it stays in open_questions); rows_not_shown counts requirement rows past the 40 an assessment keeps. While the stored postings are prepared for the first time (once after an upgrade or a new install) this answers 202 with the GET /api/postings/status object and status preparing, never a long wait: ask again when GET /api/postings/status says ready.

profile_id
string

A filter on the tags: only the jobs this active role found; repeat it, or separate ids with commas. It never picks which assessment a row shows (0.1.11.9).

q
string

Words that must all be in the title, company or location.

state
string

Keep these states (repeat or separate with commas): not_assessed, needs_answers, matched, has_gap (matched, with a must-have confirmed unmet), not_a_match, tailored, assessed (any assessment), recommended (the Scout label), weak_fit (listed only when asked for), thin_posting (matched by verdict on no requirement row at all: never in matched), ranked_low (only the postings not assessed and ranked below fit.weak_fit_below_rank, 50; without it they are listed with the rest, lower by their rank), applied (0.1.11.3: the postings marked applied or beyond: interview, offer, rejected, withdrawn; 0.1.11.5: listed only when asked for).

window
string
Allowed values: new 7d 30d

New: first seen since the last check. 7d / 30d: posted (the day it went up; else first seen) in the last 7 or 30 days.

sort
string
Allowed values: fit newest_posted

Fit (the default): the grid’s order. newest_posted: the day the posting went up, the newest first.

removed
string
Allowed values: 0 1 true false

1: the postings the board no longer lists, instead of the live ones.

us_only
string
Allowed values: 0 1 true false

0.1.11.8: US only, by the posting’s LOCATION (never its board). 1: leave out a posting only when every place its location names is clearly outside the US; a posting in the US or remote in the US stays, and one Scout cannot place (Remote alone, no location, an unknown place) ALSO stays, with location_unclear: true on its row. 0: off. Left out: the setup’s default (on when the shared settings’ countries hold the US, else off); us_only.default says which. counts.us_only_left_out is how many postings it left out. Not applied with job.

collapse
string
Allowed values: 0 1 true false

0.1.11.8: 0 lists every posting. Left out or 1: the same company, the same title and the same description posted more than once (only the location differs) is ONE row (copies, locations, locations_text, members), also two cities of one country; a posting with another description, or with none stored, is never merged; the page and the counts are rows. The row is one canonical job: its US posting when it has one, else the earliest posted. Not applied with job.

job
string

0.1.11.6: only this posting, by its address (raw or normalized; repeat it for several, at most 200). An exact read, not a page of the list: the posting is a row whatever hides it from the list (an application, a weak fit, a board that no longer lists it: removed is not applied, read the row’s removed_at). filters.jobs echoes the normalized addresses.

history
string
Allowed values: 0 1 true false

1: add history, what old find-jobs runs assessed, with each run’s provenance.

include_hidden
string
Allowed values: 0 1 true false

1 with history=1: also the hidden rows (a run with no profile, a profile that is not active).

limit
integer

Rows per page (1..200, default 50).

offset
integer

Rows to skip.

Success.
